To achieve these objectives, Management, through its quality policy, intends to promote and rigorously implement the principles established in the quality management system according to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, through the direct involvement of all staff, and to implement continuous improvement.

The company strategy aims to:

• identify the needs and expectations of customers and all interested parties, in order to best satisfy them.
• identify and keep under control risks and opportunities and undertake effective improvement actions
• identify significant environmental aspects
• mitigate the environmental impact arising from direct and indirect environmental aspects
• link Microcolumn's image to high quality standards
• comply with all applicable binding laws
• monitor and continuously improve the effectiveness of the quality management system
• prevent, eliminate and, where this proves impossible, reduce pollution and the use of natural resources, taking into account the best economically practicable available technologies
• optimize internal resources, in order to avoid errors, delays, inefficiencies
• ensure compliance with binding regulations in terms of workplace safety
• Improve year on year the results of environmental management of its activities and services in compliance with the Policy
• maintain high technical competence of staff by developing a policy of constant training and involvement

• involve and raise staff awareness of quality culture and management
• involve and raise staff awareness of sustainability and climate change issues

In light of the aforementioned strategies, Management commits to:

• annually maintain the quality and environmental policy: review it to ensure its continued suitability and update it in accordance with company objectives and strategies
• ensure that the quality and environmental policy is disseminated, understood and implemented at all levels and becomes an integral part of the company culture
• implement the contents of the company quality management system documents
• periodically verify the effectiveness of the quality management system, promoting improvement actions aimed at increasing the level of customer satisfaction while respecting the environment and people.
